I am back in the saddle again after a really rough 2011, including neck surgery and a Heart Attack. The doctors have released me for long road trips.

I would like to return to the Devils Spine ( Silver City NM ) in May or Big Bend in April. I am definately doing the National in June.

Or, do we want to do the Regional in the fall?

Gimme some feed back.

I'd originally planned on going to Silver City starting Memorial Day weekend and throughout that week. I wanted to attend the music festival there. But that got shot down at work.  Mad2  Susan and I are still wanting to go there for a week but I can't take off that much time until after May. I have a great aunt that lives there that I haven't seen in several years. I need to go see her and the roads are divine.

Kwixtar,
Why not combine the Spring MTE with the National? While it is not really in region 2, it's awfully close in NW Arkansas.I've been to the last 5,(all of them I think) 3 in N.M. and 2 in TX. We've never had any New Mexico participation and it's been Texans,Okies and the Arizona guys.
The Arizona crew may object to having a two day run but with the great riding area that NW Arkansas provides they may see that it's worth it.
Also great to hear you are back in the saddle again.

Not all who wander are lost. I probably am, though

Hey! I've been to one, and am in NM. I'd say not a lot of NM participation though.

Why do folks insist on calling HWY 191 the Devils Spine... try a Google search for Devil's Spine and see what you get... next perform a Google search for the Devil's Highway and compare the two...

It's been a few years since I've been able to make a Region 2 Meet... this year doesn't look any different.  Sad
I'm sure whereever the masses decide, all will have a Great Time!

Some nice roads in Silver City area, especially towards Roberts lake and the ghost town of Mogollon. I'm up for it.  Thumbsup
