Really!  I thought Basecamp was Citynav's mac version.  Hmmm, I really have to come into the 21st century!  Thanks Chris, I'll do a little research.

Jump into the new Millenium man.  Mapsource is no longer supported by Garmin.  Basecamp is the wave of the future.   Bigsmile


Basecamp is only for their "outdoor handhelds".   Mapsource is still supported.

Basecamp used to be for their hiking GPS models but it is true that Mapsource will not be updated in the future as far as the software itself goes Garmin is dropping support.  Basecamp will now span all models. Thumbsup

I replaced the digitiser on my Zumo 550 following the advrider instructions, it was pretty straightforward  Bigok

Strange, this is not mentioned on their website, all the care and motorcycle models are still shown as being sold with mapsource and not basecamp as well.  Headscratch
