I've been flirting with the idea of starting my own motorcycle-themed blog.  Mostly ramblings of my own about various nonsense that pops into my skull, possibly some trip reports, things like that..  Aside from the whole scariness of putting your thoughts out for the world to see, I was wondering if my fellow moto-enthusiasts feel that are too many such things on the web, and this one would be lost in the sea of better quality content.
What say you?

I confess that a great deal of my blog content is, at the very least, thought up while at work. Bigsmile

If you want to write, go for it and develop a thick skin. It doesn't much matter what anyone else thinks.

Go for it.
It's free, it's fun, etc.

I haven't updated my moto blog in more than a year, but I've been thinking about it lately. I may start again.

I'm actually debating ending mine. Having to write about riding tends to take some of the fun out of riding.

I've definitely had that feeling, too.  Taking a hiatus (from blogging, not riding) really helps.  I usually end up taking notes anyway just for myself and then not publishing them publicly all the time.

excellent info here, and I think each of you for responding.

Most informative was that so far, 20% of people who've never met me think I suck.  They're probably not wrong.   Lol Twofinger
