I'm surprised this hasn't already shown up....
http://www.motorcycledaily.com/2012/01/honda-announces-availability-of-nc700x-in-u-s-market-this-summer/
A 670cc parallel twin adventure bike getting 60-ish mpg for $7K?
Also has optional ABS and DCT transmission.
That sounds like a step in the right direction for Honda.
One thing that kind of sucks for many riders would be the 32.7 inch seat height.
Opinions?

I like it.
It looks much nicer than V-Stroms (even though that's not hard!)
It looks like a great bike to sight see on.
Price is right.

Ducati called, they want their "beak" back.
If $7k is true, that's way more realistic than Honda's dreams with the VFR1200.

I recently sold my ST1300, which I liked very much, but this could get me back into the Honda fold. I like this one a lot!

Oopsy!
How silly of me to assume the topic of a specific brand and model of bike wouldn't be discussed in "Manufacturer Row".

Priced right; though I think the term 'adventure' is really being thrown around lightly these days...
Hope it sells well to show Honda they can sell a bike that isn't priced at $16k

To me it looks a lot like the VFR800X Crossrunner that they brought out recently.
