Who Still Uses a 35MM Camera?

I dusted off my old Canon EOS850 the other day and am thinking about starting to use it again, especially outdoors.
Anyone else still shooting with film?

I still have 3 Nikons, a Kowa 6x6 and a Calumet 4x5. I haven't used the 4x5 for a while but I still use the 35 & 6x6 regularly. I also have 2 digital cameras that get used a lot.

I recall the days of film with some nostalgia however I do not miss the cost of burning through several rolls of film, the smell of developer emanating from the darkroom in the basement. Or the hours wasted processing film thinking I had "The shot" just to find out much later I didn't.
Digital cameras and indoor plumbing - two modern marvels.

i liked the smell of developer.
i still have my old olympus. digital has made me lazy though. my wife has a photography business and of course uses (expensive!) digital, but she can handle herself just fine with film.
i think digital has taken the art and science out of photography (from a purist standpoint). digi is a wonderful step forward though.

I have my old Minolta X700 and a couple of decent lenses but it's been a good while since I've pulled any film through it. I should take it with me on my pending bike trip...but it's so much simpler to toss the digital camera in the tank bag and not have to deal with film.

I haven't used my old Canon A2 in years but I still break out my Leica IIIf on occasion. I really need to send it out to be cleaned but it's still a great camera with fantastic glass.

I had a big camera bag full of Olympus gear, it was stolen when the house was broken into the summer of 2010. They left the Nikon DSLR and lenses along with other things. I guess they ran out of room or time.
I hadn't really used it in a long time but had some ideas for projects that I wanted to do with it. Oh well, hope they choked on the $25.00 all that equipment probably got them.

I still have my Century Graphic with a 6x7 back, a Mamiya AutoCord 6x6 and a Canon FtB. Haven't run a roll of film through any of them since my Nikon 8008 bought the farm. They are taken out and admired occasionally, though. As much as the Nikon D80 pleases me, there's something about the heft and mechanical feel of the old film cameras.
Hours in the darkroom have been replaced with hours in front of a computer. Megadollars of film have been replaced with four SD chips that are filled, then erased only to be filled again. That's the pro's of digital. The con's? Well, none of them (except the 8008) everstopped taking pictures when the battery died. And, um, well, that's about it.
Most likely I'll never use film again.

Digital is so much easier, but I have fond memories of doing it myself. Bulk TriX was pretty cheap.

Haven't used any of my Olympus OM-2, OM-4, or Sinar F1 4x5 in years.
Mostly because I haven't had a vacation in 6 years. (The OM's)
Not done any professional shooting in over a decade. (The Sinar)
Currently only using a point-n-shoot Olympus digital.
With SLR digital cameras not having depth-of-field scales on their lenses; I don't feel a need for anything greater than a digital point-n-shoot.
Although a digital SLR is still on my wish list. It's way down on the list.

I threw away a handful of old 35mm point and shoots yesterday as a matter of fact. Doing some junk purging around the house while I am cooped up with a bad knee. Found them in a box in a spare closet.

People still use these? I have 2 SLRs they can have for cheap. Just never got into photography thing like I thought. By the time I got the camera set up for the shot, the moment passed. Been pointing and shooting ever since.

I have a cousin who uses a 35 mm point and shoot to this day. And she still gets good pics. Kind of her trademark.

I went and got a battery for my Canon and my son had a good laugh watching me try and load the film. I found an old roll of film in the closet but it's probably 10 years old.
All he kept saying is why?

I miss shooting film sometimes. All my good professional gear was sold along time ago.
Between myself and two friends we had a whole damn studio full of film gear and a major darkroom setup
capable of doing prints as large as 20x24.
Weddings killed it for me. I sold pretty much everything and got out of them. Used to screw up my summer weekends and during the
fall also.
