I've got a call at 10am that will probably be roughly 30 min, then I don't have to be back until 2. I'm looking for a route suggestion that starts with the following:

1. Silver Birch LN to T at Waldron Rd. (this is the exit to my subdivision)

2. LEFT onto Waldron Rd.

3. gogogo

Want to come with?

Messed up the knee this weekend. Going to keep me off the Middle Tennessee roads for a few weeks it seems.

Need someone to keep the VFR in shape for you? I've been wanting to try one out for a while.  Bigok

Hmmm.... Well I have wanted to try out a Vstrom. I was actually looking to buy one before the VFR fell in my lap since I was planing on riding one to Alaska this year. Since I got the VFR I have been thinking of just getting a KLR instead of a Vstrom to share space in the garage.

It is what I get for thinking my fat ass could run a half marathon.  Lol Started doing 3 and 4 mile run/walks last October. Started stretching it to 5 and 6 miles at a time in early January. I was on a 5 mile training run Saturday morning and had just gone over a large hill about 2 miles into it. When I got to the bottom of the other side something went wrong, every step was bone on bone shock and sharp pain. I had to walk just over a mile and a half back to the car.

Ortho doc I saw yesterday suspects a torn meniscus but I will have to wait until I can get an MRI later this week to confirm that.

I'm back. I did just a little ride, a little over 30 miles. I decided to build in a little time for lunch and errands. The route:

Waldron Rd. to Lake rd.

RIGHT onto Lake Rd, becomes McFarlin Rd, to Kidd Rd.

LEFT onto Kidd Rd. to Nolensville Rd.

LEFT onto Nolensville Rd. to Rocky Fork Rd.

LEFT onto Rocky Fork Rd. to Del Thomas Rd.

RIGHT onto del Thomas Rd. to Paw paw Springs Rd.

LEFT onto Paw Paw to Independent Hill Rd.

LEFT onto Independent Hill Rd. to Almaville Rd, to 24, to errands to home.

I like that area around Del Thomas Rd...lots of good riding out there I assume, especially once you get more into the country than I went. I'll venture further afield next time.

Some of the same roads I am used to riding when running errands in the Boro and Smyrna.

Well this is a stupidly long link but....
