Yep, I can read it without too much trouble. There were a couple of "words" I had to rescan to comprehend, mainly where the first two letters interfered with another word that I'm more familiar with.

Cluod really parsed to me as 'cloud', especially since I'm a little dyslexic. Taotl was another.

I did fine with both examples. Actually, most people can read the first example. The human brain fills in things with what it expects to see. One of the many reasons people don't see motorcycles

I'm reading a book (with normal letters and no typos! ) About this thing on a larger scale. It's called "The Goddess vs. the Alphabet". It's about how your left and right, or masculine and feminine sides of the brain work. It's interesting in that looking an image, like a flowerpot you take it all in at once, color, background, flowers, maybe even the time of day or time year, depending on the background or condition of the flowers. Very holistic and right brain.

Versus how a written description of the blue flower pot on the white bench in front of the dilapidated wooden fence with the yellow dandelions relies on linear thinking, left brain.

The author makes an interesting point that early societies that adopted an alphabet quickly either banned images (Think 10 commandments, or Islamic sects) or changed their goddess myths to god myths (Greeks) and formed Patriarchal societies.

Not done yet, but the author goes on to point out that technology is becoming more and more image based (used DOS lately?   ) and thinking may move back to a more feminine or at least balanced norm.

First time someone showed me an example of mixed middles it was handed to me upside-down, and I didn't know the difference. Even reading mirror images is no problem with dyslxia like mine. In fact, reading modified text is often esier than reading normal text.
