I've seen a few of them running around Wilmo. A 4 door Porche is a crime against nature. It shouldn't be allowed to exist.

Top Gear also tested the Panamera.

They had things to say about the styling:

A VP here has one. Its always spotless and he drives the poo out of it (as it should be). I like it but not sure that if I had that kind of cash it would be my go to car.

I've seen these at the NYC auto show.  I like 'em more than the Porsche Cayenne.  If a 4-door Porsche is a crime against nature, then a 4-door SUV Porsche is MURDER 1.

I wouldn't go so far as describing it as a genital wart, but a 4 door Porsche SUV does seem a bit sacrilegious.

It's not an SUV, it's a saloon, AKA station wagon.  Lol

But I'd take it, and drive the snot out of it.

A saloon is a sedan. A station wagon would be an estate. Now, a shooting brake from Porche would be awesome.

All sorts of Panameras cruise around my 'hood.

Either C&D or R&T tested it at 3.3 0-60
So if you think you can take one on your bike, you need to be paying attention.

Funny thing is for putzing around the smart buy is the base model with the Turbo wheels.  Looks just like the Turbo, but $80K instead of $160K.
And it still is a great car.

We need more shooting brakes.  I'm still watching the resale fall on these:

Not a "brake" in my book.  If the roof line stayed higher towards the rear then OK.  No room for the dogs and guns in that one.

PS-  As a Porsche fan, that Panamera is as ugly as Rosie O'Donnell in a thong.

A proper shotgun breaks down and is easily stowed in the boot.
