Main throttle Sensor Input Voltage Inspection

07 650R Ninja
Just recently done a throttle body sync using the $1.55 synce tool. It sort of worked OK. The manual states there's a Main throttle Sensor Input Voltage Inspection and there would need a special adapter. Is the inspection necessery, and could I get around using a special adapter.

If you knew the voltage and the actual pin locations of the TPS electrical connector.
You could always carefully back-probe the correct pin of the TPS connector with a paperclip or pin and use a volt meter to measure the voltage.

Thanks for reply;
Seems the plug input is sealed so cannot be probed. I could always make an adapter w/ some wire leads skinned bare in the center for test leads. The voltage specs are given in the service manual.
