I'm looking at C3's for me and my wife.  We tried them on at a recent bike show and love them.  However, I find $900 ($450 each) to be a lot for the Schuberth bluetooth communicator.  Also, I'm not thrilled that that only buys bluetooth for the one helmet that can't be moved to another helmet.

So my question is, has anyone here that owns a C3 used a bluetooth other than Schuberth's?  Like UClear, Cardo, Sena?

If so, any issues I should be aware of?

I've been very happy with my Sena SMH-10 (or whatever the model number actually is).  It works well, has decent battery life, and sounds good.  Also, it was relatively cheap.

So you have the Sena mounted to a C3?  Is there room for the boom?  Does the chin skirt interfere a lot with the boom?

Thanks

No, sorry- not a C-3.  I didn't realize you were asking about that specific set-up.  Mine is mounted in a Scorpion 700, but I see no reason why it wouldn't work with pretty much any helmet.  The boom is flexible enough and the mic is small enough that it really should work with any arrangement.
