So...we have the pictures of your bike and nothing.  Between that, the one picture one story thread and now and then thread in the ride reports section, I've been enjoying living vicariously through all the pics.  So how about one picture representing your bike and someplace special in the background.

My bike at a boat crossing (the bike is on the other side).  I nearly laid the bike over in surprise when I saw this thing rising out of the water beside me.

I do, too - now that you say it.  I hadn't looked for his tiny head before because I thought his pannier was on the left side.  Is the picture reversed, marcusaurelius?

At least he was once on the left, so my recollection isn't completely faulty.  Smile

If the state highway sign in Kuna, ID isn't funny enough, there's a lube shop, too.  Bigsmile

This one is from 1973 in Davenport, CA. Those look sort of like the White Cliffs of Dover.

I believe it is, although they predate me moving to the area. But that is on Broadway and appears to be an old dealer building.

A couple old Wings at the Polka Dot Cafe on Route 66 back in '98.  My first long ride ever on a motorcycle.  In the background you can see Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, Jerry Lee Lewis and Betty Boop statues.  Yes, I was pulling a motorcycle camper.

Riding does seem to come natural. I did ride in the Imperial Sand Dunes for many years back in the 90's, started on a 3 wheeler and then a 4 wheeler, but this is my first 2 wheeler. For a 600cc she gets up and moves pretty well so not the best starter bike. I've ridden almost 6,000 miles since I got it in September 2011. It came with the SW Motech mounts and Givi V35 panniers (which were not used on these rides).

This other pic is self explanatory as of location, Washington on the Brazos near Navasota, TX. The biggest problem was time of day and placement. A black bike in shadows with a bright background. Did my best with a point-n-shoot Olympus.

Willow Creek summit.  22 miles out of Challis Idaho.  Couldn't stay long, too many flies, and they were big enough to carry you away.

I bet that '91 CBR1000F is a great bike for Montana, DRam.   Thumbsup  Lots of wide open spaces in Montana.

Yep.  Love the bike and the state.  Wide open spaces, a mix of long straight roads east of the mountains and some nice curvy ones west of them.  Not much traffic where I am.  Great riding.
