I work with Chris.  He's a real rider and deserving of the bike.  Can't wait to see it in the flesh.

If the weather holds, this would be a good excuse to ride.

Pretty cool Thumbsup

I think I would take the bike over the cash too.

I have enough money for an eyepatch. As a matter of fact,,,, I think I may still have one Lol

I'm confused:

This coming February 3-5, the Wheels Through Time Museum in Maggie Valley, NC is celebrating its first special weekend opening of 2012. The museum will be open Friday-Sunday, from 10:00a.m.-5:00p.m, and will be holding demonstrations and exhibitions of various new machines on display throughout the weekend.

After nearly a decade in Maggie Valley, North Carolina, the Wheels Through Time Museum officially announced on May 28, 2011 that it will be moving out of the Smoky Mountains in order to expand its scope and broaden its impact.

So the current location is still Maggie Valley, NC?

Thanks.

Still there.  Last I read, they're still discussing where they might go.  Doesn't seem like they'll be moving right away.  Just decided TO move and have a lot of work to determing where, when and how to move.  I guess.

Sounds like they just spent some money on the place:

"New displays have been created throughout the museum, and several current exhibitions have been expanded upon. New and enhanced lighting has also been installed throughout the museum providing a better visual experience for guests."

Maybe they're sticking around. 2011 was evidently good for them. I hope so. Dale's a cool fella.

my last trip to wheels through time was just that, my last. I think it's cool some of the old bike they have, but it's mainly harleys though time, which I have very little interest in...

for me, it's more worth the time to ride to barbers...
