Speed Trip owners - problems with starter

Hey all. 2000 Speed Triple. I've noticed lately that I sometimes have to turn the key off and back on before the starter will do its thing. Short somewhere?

anyway, whilst you are here in Kwak land, you might as well paint it green.

It would also start every time as well.
