Due to my level of density, an unable to figure HTH to remove the
nose/breath guard from my 2010 Scorpion EXO-400 helmet. Don't
want risk causing any damage by brute force.

It absolutely refuses to pull out. I've the impression that it has t-tabs inside the slots.
