Just three more weeks and it's onto the big silver bird for a reunion with Big Red (Triumph Trophy). Renew documents, fly to Russia, spend a couple weeks with my girl, back to the UK, blast to the ferry and 24 hours later, off in Bilbao for another European tour. I'll be watching for some more Stavropol cognac but might have to settle for Spanish.

Wow, Spain in the Spring ! Sounds fantastic. Leave a chilly Portsmouth and arrive in Bilbao to warmth and sunshine. I would love to do that.

Enjoy Bill and do take some pics to post here for us mere mortals !  Lol

I was thinking about where you might be going and Spain is obvious but will you also head to Italy?  Last weekend I was going through some old pics and thinking about Europe. If you do get to Italy I hope you will consider a trip to the Cinque Terre ?   It is a lovely area perched on the steep coast with some great roads.  If you do ... please have a slice of pizza here....    ... the town of Vernazza.   Inlove  Amazing area and great vistas and FOOD !

Map of the area ...

... dig those squiggly lines ... sigh.

Hate you ...  Lol

Have a great trip Bill.
Do yourself a big favour and find some of this when in Spain:

"Larios 1866 Gran Reserva"

You will not regret it. I promise.
And bring some back for me too.

Planning to run south through the center and then back north along the Costa Del Sol, cross northern Italy and wind up in Idelivo Bulgaria to meet Doug Wothke.
Thanks for the good wishes Dave and should get a chance to try some real Italian pizza Bubba. Ivan, I will keep an eye peeled for the 1866!

I am envious! Have a great trip. That Russian Congnac you brought along to the BBB was pretty tasty, as I recall. Hope you get to enjoy many bellies full over there. Have fun, be safe.
