I just installed DNT+. It's an extension that prevents websites you visit from tracking you and selling your information. I must say web pages load significantly faster. I'll let y'all know how it goes. It's free here:

There's already a do not track checkbox in Firefox. The problem of course is that it's voluntary by the website/tracking companies so like the DNC listing, only the scumbags will track you. Don't know about the Chrome one though. I do use adblock plus and noscript to manage access and after a scan a few days ago, I'm still 100% malware free (I don't run anti-virus/anti-malware software on my systems but I do run it once in a while just to check my system out).
