I seemed to have got it to work, although when I hit the "SAVE CHANGES" button, it went to a screen that said "Uploaded file failed".

Here too, except that I wasn't trying to upload, just trying to link.  I kept getting "invalid file".  Never changed a thing and after 6 tries it finally went.
 
Still cannot link to photos either.
