Options for a glorified man purse and/or map holder for the plastic tank on a new Sprint? I'm not concerned with big capacity and really just like having a clear plastic area for my map in front of me. I've never had to strap anything down before, I've always had metal tanks and small magnetic tank bags.
I've read the other tank bag threads, but these are usually for gargantuan, suitcase-size bags and such. I want compact.

I have the Daypack II. It is small. The map window is nice and big, but I haven't used it riding yet. In the bag itself, I can fit a Creative Labs Nomad Jukebox 3, an Autocom unit, Boosteroo amp, and maybe the Stich Robster craw rain gloves and clear plastic rain cover. The map window is thick, show you could put a bike magazine in there.

I think (I
should
know, but I misplaced what I'm talking about) that the Triumph bags, while very big, do come with a separate map holder that goes in place of the whole bag. So you can use the whole bag if you need it (and they have a built in map window) or on days you just want the map, you can use the map holder.
It's pretty slick. I just can't seem to find mine right now....

I used a Luggage Locker on my 05ST. Similar to SW MotoTech fastening system but perhaps too large for your tastes.
