What kind of range can you get from a tank?

How is the passenger accommodations once you have bags and a trunk installed?

Anyone try the touring shield from Yamaha?

Do the factory lowers offer any protection?

Anyone have any pics of an 06/07 with bags?

My low fuel light comes on around 130 miles, giving me a theoretical range of 160 miles.  With more gentle application of the throttle, I imagine that could be even further.

Hard luggage shouldn't interfere with a passenger.  I would think the real limitation will be the passenger seat, which is neither large nor very well padded.  Sargent makes a great front seat and could probably rework a rear seat for someone.

Here is a thread about Yamaha's factory luggage set:

I just have the stock screen which I like.  I did a quick search at FZ1OA on windscreens and came up with this:   http://www.yamahafz1oa.com/forum/search.php?searchid=834245

The lower fairings should offer a little bit of protection from the wind and rain, but I've found that my legs don't get a lot of exposure to the elements with a stock bike.  The lowers do look very nice though.  http://www.yamahafz1oa.com/forum/showthread.php?t=51879&highlight=lowers
