 Bigok Congrats on your new Tiger; you made the right choice!  Beautiful bike! Inlove Rincewind is right on the money about the motor: when my brother and I rode our new bikes back home from Chattanooga, sticking to the recommended break-in was a real test of willpower!  The first phase wouldn't (IIRC) let us get above 50 mph: at that speed, we were the slowest things on the highway!  He was able to go marginally faster (his = a new '05 leftover Daytona 955SE), but only by a few MPH, and I was setting the pace.  That initial phase wasn't much fun, but we eagerly counted the miles 'till we could graduate to the next RPM limit, and each one just got better!  He and I both got the TOR cans and the sound coming from those triples was beautiful music!  I highly recommend the TOR exhaust/EFI remap option or an aftermarket can: uncorked, that motor will really come to life! Bigsmile Again, you've got a gorgeous bike, you're gonna love it!  Welcome to the Triumph community!  Beerchug

Hey Bub -- glad your experience matched mine at Shorline - good folks --

btw, since I'm about 500 miles ahead of you on breakin, can I interest you in finding out how much faster my BLACK Tiger is?

;-}

Think about that the previous owner sold, do the math, at the discounts that he offered he could not make a proper profit margin to stay in business. Maybe if he sold every Triumph in the U.S. he could have made a profit.
