Buell Messenger Bags

I saw the recent Buell Messenger Bag promotion for test riding a new Buell and figured, who am I to miss out on free swag?
With this in mind, I went over to my local dealer, San Diego HD-Buell, and picked up my bag. The bag is of surprisingly high quality. It will hold a laptop, notepad, and assorted sundries without complaint. There is even a compartment for a cell phone. Who could ask for more? But wait, it is even embroided with the "Own the corners" logo!
Go get yours now and represent!

I was actually just looking at one of those ads and thinkin' it might be fun to give one of those new TTs a ride. I've never ridden a buell before but I figure they are (surprisingly) on my short list for future road bikes.

Got my bag last week.
Lots of storage and it is of decent quality, I am already using mine!!
I think the only way to get the bag is to test ride a Uly, but I could be wrong....

Hmmm...I've demo'd Buells on a few occasions (closest dealer is several hours away), but I've never been offered anything at all for doing so. Dunno if those promotions exist in Canada, or at least not in the west.
Possibly related, there are very few Buells on the roads around here--I can count 'em all within several hours ride on the fingers of one hand, and I've never actually ridden with another Buell rider.

I have mine as well and was fortunate to demo the TT (not my first choice but grew on me quickly during the test ride).
I rarely see another Buell during my commute on the road, only one red XB for a total of 3 seconds before I had to turn off.
Life is short, get free stuff!

Hey, I finally got some schwag--a t-shirt--for doing a demo ride. Of course, it says "Victory Motorcycles" on it...
(maybe one day Buell will give me something when I do a demo...

Well you gotta actually GO TO a Buell dealership first.
Actually, I rode several Buell demos prior to
buying
my bike. Never mind the dealers are all so far away...
I don't really care about the schwag, I'm just making noise because I hear about guys getting freebies all the time just for attending a demo, but the one who's actually supported Buell by purchasing a bike sees none of it... (Buells are very rare in my area, probably since there are no dealers...and the dealer I bought from is the classic H-D place who hides the Buells in the back because "they don't sell around here," even though they are in prime sportbike territory...)
I had fun riding the Victory Hammer yesterday, but there's NO way I'd want to replace my Buell with one...even though they did give me a T-shirt

Oh that's not entirely true. Asphalt Carver just bought a Lightning Long and he got his Messenger Bag.

What I find nice is all the years I rode other brand bikes I never got anything from them and after buying a Buell I get stuff all the time it shows they appreciate their buyers in my book. I even get them asking me to sell it back to them for a different Buell mine is a mint 2001 X1 unless thats just dealer talk to get me to buy another one.
