I've gone to BikeBandit.com, and it's no help.

When I bought my '98 Trophy, it came with a o-ring/gasket ... but I don't know what it's for.
I *suspect* it's for the oil leak I have around the output shaft / countersprocket.

The part # is "700T3600099" -- it's a 3.5" diameter o-ring AND a smaller 0.5" o-ring in the same "TRIUMPH Genuine Parts" bag.

Any idea how to find out what they're for?

If I had to guess, I would say it is the o-rings that come with a new Triumph oil filter.  The smaller one goes on the shaft, the larger one around the base.

Does it look like this?

Don't go getting all smart on me.    Twofinger

Rince - that's exactly it.  And I have the filter.
Thanks!
