I am interested in hearing owner feedback on the hardcase set-up available for the Buell Ulysses.  The cases are the Journey series made by Hepco and Becker.  I am looking for intel and reviews on these bags in terms of usability and quality, as well as passenger comfort/foot room and whether or not any of the cases will take a full-face helmet.

Also, if you happen to be familiar with the Hepco and Becker Gobi series, how would you say they compare to the Journeys?

Thanks.   Bigok

The Journey side cases will accept a full-face helmet with room to spare. You might even be able to get two in there if you tried hard enough.

I've been very happy with the bags. They hold a lot are are watertight. My wife has no complaints about foot room, although she is very small (fwiw, 4'11", size 3 shoe).

Some folks have had trouble with the latches breaking. While Buell is replacing broken latches free of charge, your best best is to use one hand to hold the bag fully closed, and the other to close the latch. Don't use the latch to pull the bag closed, and stop if you feel any resistance.
