I found a tire guy in Manchester who swapped out my internet purchased tires for $20 a tire. I brought him three wheels and my three new tires and 45 mins later I was headed home with professionally mounted and balanced tires.  He also has a bike repair business.  His name is Jim (603) 668-5093

It would be a good way to reward those folks who treat us right and help us stay out of the dealers waiting rooms. It's now fairly easy to get competitive tire prices on the internet, the tough part is getting them mounted. I called a few places they either wouldn't do it or wanted $50.

Well....I live just south of Manchester and was excited to see this post since I was in immediate need of someone to mount two sets of tires.  I called James Pidgeon at 603.668-5093 and he said bring 'em on in.  I dropped them off around 11:00 and went back to the home office to put in a couple more hours.  At 1:00 I picked em up, mounted, balanced, and ready to go.  $85.00 changed hands, (I asked him to dispose of the old tires and he charged me $5.00   Lol)

As painless a transaction as you could hope for... Thumbsup  Thumbsup  Thumbsup

Thanks Conrad!  My wife's GS500 might need new tires to pass inspection (and before I will feel comfortable selling it).

If Jim is the guy in Pinardville, I just heard about him recently from a very reliable source.
Also, MOM's in Manch will do it for $30 each, you bring the rims in. While you wait if not too busy.

I love the internet.  Sure let's you find all sorts of stuff like tire's at great pricing.  Freedom Cycle in Concord is 25/tire if you bring them the rim(s).  And have been pretty competitive price matching.

He was doing it out of his house/garage when he wasn't wrenching elsewhere, so a woman on the machine is not a big deal. It's probably the family phone number. He had professional equipment in the garage and did good by me. Try him again, I'd like to know if he's still doing it and how much he's charging.

Jim at Jammin Motorsports on E. Hollis St. Nashua had told me he'd mount a tire someone brought in for $X.  He also said he'll do it "free" if you get the tires from him. FWIW
