Didn't think about it but that kid was lucky he was only about a half mile from the med school, trauma center, air ambulance and all the badass rescue folks associated with those.

The bike was a 600cc Kawasaki Ninja, a powerful, black and chrome beauty Felkel had bought a week earlier and let Fischer borrow.

It was Saturday. They planned a night ride, maybe downtown. It was Fischer's first time on the Kawasaki and his first time on a street bike, although he had ridden dirt bikes.
