Hello everybody! new member here from the Missouri Ozarks. I've been riding for most of my life but only riding seriously for the past couple. I ride as transportation for the most part, but get out as much as I can for pleasure. I'm currently on a VFR, which is a hell of a bike IMO. I ride whenever I can with a guy who's got a ST1300 (which is what I often wish I had!) and a fellow with a F650 Dakar (which would go nicely with that ST!). I am glad to see an active regional thread, as getting out and seeing the hill country is what its all about.

Anyway, that's me.... Glad to have another site to look around and see what everybody else in the riding world is up to!

Hey phoenix - studad = stu dad. My name is stu, and my stepdaughter a lot of times calls me studad. But you're right as well in me being stu's dad too.. so I guess that works! And when I was dating my step daughter's mom, she was really little and a lot of times called me uncle studad, which we all got a kick out of.
It's not stud dad, not these days anyway  Sleepy !

The ST is one smooth ride but I'll take your lighter & sportier VFR anyday for my needs. Still would like to see Honda bump it up to a liter...... oh well, one day.

You have the ABS or non ABS version ?

It's non-ABS, which is great with me, but I'd like the remote rear suspension adjuster.
