Just got these today as a b-day gift from the misses.

out of the box these are an extremely well fit ! enough width in the toe area as to not cram them in together. mild curve to the instep for a natural walking feel.

bought my wife a pair of vega touring boots last year and she loves hers.

Ill post a full review after next week ( @ 1400 miles of riding)

they claim to be waterproof, we will see !

construction appears to be quite well done, solid stitching, zippers large,  velcro stick-ick-ickyyyyyy, and the sole is mildly thick. bonus toe sliders as well !

calf has extra room in it for tucking leather pants inside the upper boot. ( great for my he-man calves too !)

she could not decide between the sport version or the touring version. she made her decision based on my sidi boots.  and a great choice it was !

I've had a pair of those and the touring boots.  Like trinibob said, the soles on both split open along the sides and bottoms too.  I wore each pair for about 8 months of riding before i had to throw them away.  They were pretty comfy and water proof though.  Good boots with a bad sole (soul?)   Crazy

I've got a pair of the Nitros. They are comfy, but kinda warm. Which is OK in cooler weather, but I want some vented boots for summer use. For the money, the Nitro seems like a good boot.
