I just saw this commercial on local Seattle TV.

http://endorseyoursport.com/#/ridersanddrivers/

I think it's interesting they chose the sportbike to be the potential victim of a cager paying more attention to his cellphone than driving, but the cruiser rider sweeps into the oncoming lane in a corner avoiding a broken bottle.

From the home page -

My wife (also a rider) saw this recent article in our local paper http://www.heraldnet.com/stories/07/05/15/100loc_a1motorcycle001.cfm
and they mentioned this website.  She was surprised to see the TV commercial so soon.  Every little bit helps I guess.

After seeing the Brit moto commercials a few years ago, is this enough to get people's attention?  A step in the right direction?

Haven't watched the ads yet but anything calling attention to us, as well as warning us of the dangers, is a step in the right direction.

I don't get it.  What are they saying?  That the cruiser dude is an unskilled jerk for crossing the double yellow line?  I think the people who need to understand this, won't get the message.

The cornering scene reflects the fact that 6 out of 10 fatal crashes from 1993 to 2004 were single vehicle, too fast, lane error. Yeah, guy screwed up going in hot, overcompensating for obstacle, grace of god no oncoming traffic...

There's not a rider out there that hasn't overcooked a corner (too much for their ability anyway) and this is intended to remind them.
