Addesso sono tornato da 2 anni vivendo a Napoli.  Che divertimento.  Quello che dice il tuo web site ed esatamente giusto riguardo la guida italiana!  

Hope I get to move back there again sometime in the near future or better yet figure out how to travel back and forth like you do.  Just got married though and have a kid on the way so no more footloose travel for me.

Well, me and BF are seriously considering a bike tour to Italy, or thereabouts this fall. We have been looking into Edelweiss tours. Peter is a very experienced rider; I am one-year back on a bike after a 30 year break, w/3500 miles under my belt on my SV650, so still very much a newbie. As part of the "older" crowd (just barely past half-century) I am looking for something that isn't too stressing on the joints and butt. Any suggestions?

Northern Lakes is a must.

Spend abit of time around Maggiora. Lesser known than Como, but where all the Italians head and far better off for the lack of the cosmopolitan tourist who always seems to hit the 'very well known' sights but rarely ventures further. Stressa's the town Hemmingway relaxed to pen a few novels.

Cannobio is a little Roman village up towards the north western shoreline & is, ... magnificento. They call it the little Riviera, and once there, you'll see why. A couple of great restaurants snuggle up beneath palm baordered promenades.

I have relatives with a small villa up on the mountainside overlooking the Lake and have been several times. The round-lake run is over 100 miles and makes a good afternoon run... it really is idyllic. Also a great loco for staging a run down to Monza for the WSB venue.

Not alot gets better than that.

Hi, I am a newbie in this forum, live in Finland(Europe)and very experienced of riding motorcycle in the Alpine region and Italy. If you plan to get to Italy to ride bikes there, Italian Dolomite-mountains is a must to visit.
