I went out on Saturday for 60 miles; the first time I've ever ridden in December. Today, however, there's a thin layer of black ice over everything, especially my slopped driveway. Staying put today.

Got in 275 miles Saturday.  Rode from Battle Creek to Jackson, where I met up with Stripes.  We then proceeded to Canton, where we test rode a few Beemers (the rides were led by a very attractive and skilled lady rider) and then headed back to BC.  Very cold for most of the day, but it did get up to almost 40.  The heated seat on the K1200 GT is awesome...

Put 70 miles on Sat riding 2-up on the R11S, but it never got above 39'F, so was a tad chilly.

On Sunday had a family thing to do at 3pm, but managed to spin the oil in all the steads (couple dozen miles per) and get the tanks topped off.

It's to be above 40'F for highs all week up here, but rain predicted as well.... which is needed to wash all the damn salt off the roads!
