Don't know if I'd recommend using the C330 on a motorcycle. I think it has an internal hard disk which can cause problems due to vibrations from the bike. If you're interested in getting a Garmin suitable for a motorcycle, check their website for recommendation. You might want to also look into a refurb Streetpilot 2610 or 2720.

It's not the destination, but the journey, that counts. A sport-tourer's ride between two points is seldom a straight line. He will often seek the most convoluted route possible.

A buddy of mine has a C330 and 20K miles later on a motorcycle its still working fine, I know its not waterproof and not one of the best on the market but it was less than $300 so I got it to make sure I would use one enough before I go and get the Zumo I really want.

eBay has some really good prices on the items you mentioned. I've bought a few things for my 2730 on eBay.

While the Garmin site doesn't mention the use of an HDD or flash memory for the C330,
PCMag.com's review
, among others, cites the presence of a hard drive in the C330. If that can be confirmed, the C330 is really not a bike-ready unit. Unless Garmin has come up with bleeding edge anti-shock mounts for the drive, the question isn't
if
the drive will fail but
when
.
