Man drives 20 blocks with R6 in grill
«

Found this in another forum. Pretty interesting story
http://blackjoe.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=6634
Quote
My wife and I were driving home last night, after spending the weekend on Lopez Island with some friends. After getting off the freeway, we were approaching the light at 175th and Meridian, when I see a guy on a motorcycle coming down the hill (eastbound on 175th) with a fullsize van barrelling down behind him. Before I could even think about what was about to happen, it happened. The van went right through him and sent the motorcylist off the bike and rolling to the ground.
The van continues right down without even braking the hill without losing momentum and takes a left (northbound) onto Meridian Ave. I look up the hill and see the rider getup and run out of the street, with a dozen cars stopped around him. "Holy fucking shit" - My wife and I cannot really believe what we are seeing. Seeing that the guy was apparently okay (not dead, at least) and that there were several people around, I take off after the van. My wife immediately gets on the phone with 911.
After 20 blocks and one red light, the guy finally pulls over . . . R6 still planted in grill.

By the sound of things, I'm guessing the driver was trying to run from the undercover cops the whole time. At that point worrying about collateral damage wasn't his concern (not justifying here, just guessing what he was thinking). He just plowed through the bike and kept going without blinking an eye. In this case I think it's coincidental that it's a bike and that's all. It wouldn't have mattered if it was Mother Theresa or his own mother at that point, he wasn't about to slow down.
The "worst fear" is really more a fear of the person who would normally stop, but doesn't see us. The crazed lunatic who won't stop for his own mother isn't all that common, so we don't have to worry about that as much, thankfully.

Did you bother to look at the link and see the other pictures?
It looks more like a camera malfunction. The other pictures look fine....
Looks like he was running from undercover cops. The guy on the R6 is very lucky he's okay.

Well, it looks real in the other pics but you gotta admit that first one looks totally photo-shopped. The hood doesnt match up and its a different color - wonder why the pic came out that way?

Remember back before digital cameras? Sometimes your camera would just take a crappy 'ol pic like that for no good reason. That or the big white blob on one side (presumably from someone's thumb). I'm guessing it was a throw-away film camera.
