Multistrada in the flesh

One of the shortfalls of being on the east side of the hill here in Washington state is that "different" motorcycles are few and far between. I saw my first Multistrada today in the parking lot of a downtown hotel. Although I've always thought it looked a bit...odd...in pictures, I have to say it's not bad in the metal, in Eye-talion red.
Not bad. Not bad at all. Yakiman should see this.

It really does look a LOT better in person than it does in pictures. It is a HOOT to ride too.

My two favorite motorcycles of all time are often considered two of the oddest looking: my BMW 1150GS and my Multistrada. I thought I would never enjoy a bike as much as I did the GS...until I bought the Multi! I absolutely love to ride it and, believe it or not, most people think it looks great in the flesh. I get lots of complements. Really though, it makes me no difference what it looks like when I am slicing through a twisty backroad.

Speaking of Multis.....
Any word if we will see the Mini-Multi w/ the Monster 695 engine? That would be a sweet bike.

It does look much better when seeing it in person. When I look at pics of mine, sometimes I'm like ehhhh... but everytime I'm standing in front of her, I'm like
