Is it too soon to start another "who rode to work today?" thread?
Lmao

I'm planning on it. I need to pick up some parts at Chicago BMW and I work about 5 minutes from there. If I took the train, that would turn into a half hour walk for me, which would probably be better for me... But I digress, and I'm not sure I like the turn this one-man conversation is taking. Nuts

So mxvet is anyone riding to work tomorrow?

Actually, only 36 this morning. Heated gear will still be needed to get me to work.

Rode in yesterday and plan on it this morning.  Tomorrow looks good also.  Looking at the weekend weather I'm starting to think of some long rides for either Saturday or Sunday.

It was 40 when I left home.  I put my ski jacket over my leather and was too warm.  There was one other bike in the parking lot.  Looks like it will be a beautiful day and should be nice enough to ride the rest of the week.   Bigok

I'm not a riding commuter because of the distance, but I'm just about past the cutoff point for riding period because of the road salt.  Weather for the weekend looks good and we did have a nice rain, but there was a lot more snow-melt put down again today and I cringe every time I ride through it, especially so when the roads are 'sweaty'.

Was gonna ride in today...been eyeballing those temps this week myself, but I am gonna end up working late, so I don't want to be out and about at 9 pm on the bike.  Looks like we had a few sprinkles pass through (parking lot is wet) but tomorrow looks pretty damn good.  Plus it's casual Friday so I can wear some jeans.  I'll ride tomorrow.

I'm a wuss. Plus I ride 40 miles, mostly interstate, so why chill if I can stay toasty warm. And more of me is in the wind. Cindy left later and took sids trets and didn't need heat.

On the way home, my heated jacket was in my side case. I even had to turn the grips down. Wink

Well it looks like a "Last Chance" ride is being organized for Saturday and the loop will pass too close by me to ignore.  If I can get out, I'm-a-gonna.  We had a very nice afternoon and I saw a bunch of riders out while I was on my way home.

Forcast for 12-16
Saturday...Partly sunny. Breezy. Highs 49 to 53. South winds 15 to 25 mph.

Saturday Night...Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers. Breezy. Lows 38 to 42. South winds 15 to 25 mph. Chance of rain 30 percent.

Close enough for me. Burnout      Chili

I was advised to "Grow a pair" yesterday and commute to work this am.  I took the advice.  Massive shrinkage was the result, but it's great to be on two wheels Bigok
