2006 Kawasaki ZZR 600, silver, 13,500 miles. I bought this in August of 2007 with 5,000 miles on it. I modified a set of Givi cases to fit the bike from a ZR-7 kit. The lockable and waterproof storage really makes this bike a great pick for long distance rides. I've ridden it as far as Charleston, SC. The bike is extremely comfortable when compared to the sportier models like the ZX-6R, CBR, etc, my longest one day ride was 675 miles. The bike also has a full Hindle exhaust setup, and a steering damper that I removed but can throw in if you want. Tires are probably 60% life left, oil was just changed last weekend, really no problems with the bike. If you want it without the Givi cases and mount, I'll knock $200 off the price. Reason for selling, too many bikes that I don't ride.

Asking $5,000 or best offer. Located in Northern Virginia.

I would say that:

1) most people here already have a sport(touring) bike and those buying are looking for alternatives (for instance, Mike's recent purchase of Blue's F650)
2) "these hard economic times..."
