There were 2 days before M’s flight home and she opted for one a final day ride that I’d suggested to see the Grand Canyon du Verdon rather than spend the time lounging by the pool. If you are thinking Grand Canyon, Arizona – it’s not, but marvellous it is. In summer the Canyon roads will be busy and one cruises for the delight of the scenery rather than a spirited ride.
