I thought that the beach appeared to be on the correct coast. Not like those hippies over on the West Coast.
Nice Ninjer.
Have a look around.
Watch out for the sheep farming Welshman.
Mrs. Dante's Dame should be along soon to give you a proper greeting and chase the riff-raff such as myself away.

I've lived on the west coast, east coast, and the gulf coast. I prefer the east coast... even with the crappy roads.

Howdy all! Mel here, new rider on a recently made functional again BMW. I'm in NorCal--specifically through the trees at my house I can see the junction of 101 and 299.

Hi to all the STN riders. Especially those who came to the Rally in Eureka Springs, AR. My name is Tracy, I live in NW Arkansas and work for Butler Motorcycle Maps. I want to thank all the members that came to the ES Rally for allowing me to be a part of it and for making me feel like I was just one of the gang. I look forward to meeting and riding with more of the STN members.

Trailering anything other than a track bike will get you banned here.
Just kidding...sort of...
Hahaha! Love it! My name is Perry, and this seems like my kind of group. I like to ride. Anyone here near Tampa Bay that likes to ride at night? I have two bikes, but do not own a trailer....

Welcome, newbies! If you get a chance, be sure to update your location so it shows in your profile under "GPS." It's great that you mention where you live here in the New Members thread, but "out there in the wild," folks won't know where you live/ride. If others can see this information, you may get ride invitations, road suggestions, dealership recommendations, etc. Definitely check out your particular region for meets, rides, and demo days information, too.
Welcome!!!

Long-time rider from Ohio and a fixture at a couple of other websites where some of you might know me by a different moniker that starts with "R" and ends with "ider".
Anyway, after a number of rides over the past decade, my newest bike is a new FJR1300. Previously owned: R1100RT, R1150GS, K1200LT, V-Strom and ST1300.
Just returned from a lovely 1,400 trip with my (relatively) new bride on the pillion seat. We went to South Carolina and back to central Ohio on a combination of interstate and lovely southern back roads.
Whoa, I love this bike. Despite various trips into the worlds of Big Tourers and Adventure Tourers, sport tourers are the bikes I enjoy most: fast, smooth, comfortable and reliable, without being
TOO
big and heavy or
TOO
outrageously expensive.
Which is, after all, why I'm here.

New (took MSF BRC at the beginning of June) rider, recently bitten by the sport touring bug.
Current bike is a Honda Rebel 250, which is less than ideal, but since it's an '86 I didn't feel bad when I dropped it in the driveway.
Seems to be quite a bit of info here, so I look forward to poking around and seeing what I find!

Hey All,
Just traded my KLR650 for a used 2008 FJR1300, the FJR is the second bike I have owned. compared to the KLR is like going from a crop-duster to an F18. I am still learning and have been taking it easy. I am looking froward to the occasional 2up ridie with my wife because it for "us" ... anyway looking forward to learning more about this awesome machine and hopefully network and meet some ST compatriots from Colorado.
Take Care
