I have used this agenda to teach a number of BaseCamp haters to use the program in a few hours. They like the program now. I have completed the PC agenda and am currently working on the Mac agenda: http://www.newenglandriders.org/Learn_BaseCamp.htm

MapSource and BaseCamp aren't the most user-friendly apps out there, but I've made peace with them and can do what I need to do. I just wish there was a way to use an Android tablet to run BaseCamp so that I don't have to carry a Windows netbook around with me on trips.

 Hail

Thank you! This is something I need to do but hadn't gotten around to it because I wasn't even sure on how to start.

As a software developer, so many "we'll include it with our product but it's not our main business" software packages are pretty awful and just kind of piss me off. There's really no reason these days for having sub-standard software.

Guys, if you go into help on BaseCamp this same info is there.  Learning BC in a day is BS.  You may be able to do basic navigation but doing a detailed route takes more than a day to learn.

+1 here.  Garmin and others wouldn't touch android because it was a moving target.  Android, since kitkat came out, is mature enough as a platform.

Very nice. I've used this to set up routing for an upcoming trip. I'm also now able to share the data with the others on the trip in advance so we will all be working off the same information. Fantastic improvement for our trip planning.

Thanks again.  Hail
