This is an amazing cat. When I put her in the room, I figured she'd be at the door yowling and scratching, but no. Not a sound, not a peep in two days.

I hear this happens if you don't feed it. Razz

Anyway, it's confirmed.

Kitty is going home with my co-worker tomorrow and has vet appointments lined up to get the needed care.  Thumbsup

Another success story. Thumbsup

Well now.

I just got a call from my co-worker who adopted the cat, he just left the vet's office.

Kitty is NEGATIVE on the tests for the big lethal nasties, FHIV/FLK, no fleas or ticks, is NOT preggo after all and
has a previous spay surgery scar
and appears to be in good health with the exception of a small hernia of some sort, a bite mark of some sort on her tail, and on her back leg at the elbow which I noticed, looked a bit swollen, but nothing serious.

The vet said the cat was incredibly calm and cooperative when they rolled her over and shaved her belly to check her out.

All good news man. She's on the way to her new home.  Bigsmile Bigsmile  Thumbsup Thumbsup Thumbsup

I reserve this smiley ---->

For occasions that warrant it.  And this does.

Good on ya, Tim.  Very good karma for this one, if you're into that sorta thing.

Very nice story-same thing happened here a couple years ago, but the cold had hurt this one.  Her ears had frostbite so bad they fell off, and a vet said she was probably going to lose her feet, and so she had to be euthanized.  Nice to hear of one that made it. Smile

Luna (the cat) is happy and resting in her new home. My co-worker and his 2 girls love her.
Yeah we were glad to get this one off the street. She was just too nice of a cat to turn a blind eye
and leave her to fend for herself, especially in this weather. I've never seen a cat come off the street so happy to have some
human contact/care/attention.
