Buddy's wife got him a Multi 620 from Bend Euro Moto about two years ago.  She calls them up to see if she they rent Ducatis as she wanted to give him a day aboard a bigger Duc as a present.  BEM said, "you've been good customers, just have him stop by and we'll see about sending him out for a day ride on the new Hypermotard.  No charge because we know he lives, breathes, and bleeds Ducatis."    Bigok

So we buzz by yesterday and he and BEM are working out the details and I pipe up, "gee, it's dangerous to ride alone on a bike, I think I should accompany you on a 695 Monster." (I love the looks of those 695's in red as I continue to work through my Ducati infatuation phase.)  They laughed, but then said, "sure, we've got a demo you can use."   Clap Chili

And that's why I take my GS to BEM.  They are a motorcycle shop run by people who simply love bikes and all they sell are motorcycles and motorcycle accessories.  Yes, they are Ducatistis first, but any bike is a close second.  They have fantastic customer service.  We often post stories that rip on dealers, I just thought I'd share a positive experience.

Sounds like good business. It's nice to see some bike shops are actually interested in selling bikes, and know how to get it done. Very little doubt your friend will be trading in the Multi at some point..."Honey! I gotta have the Hypermotord! I can't stop thinking about it. I'm just not gonna be a whole person til I get one..." etc, etc... Bigsmile

Funnily enough he has done an aboard the Hypermotard and came back saying "yeah, it's nice and I've got a huge grin on my face right now, but I can't see replacing my 620 with it."

That's pretty cool. Quite a compliment to the 620!  Thumbsup

I rode it today and posted up a report; basically my take on it too.  The 'motard's an amazing tool, don't get me wrong.
