The Blue Ridge 250 is a charity fundraising event to support Fragile Kids Foundation and provide an enjoyable motorcycle adventure for its participants. It is actually two events in one, providing a 250 mile day of sport touring over the Southern Appalachian’s best roads and a shorter route which includes some unpaved Forest Service roads for adventure touring and dual sport riders.
Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided as part of the entry and explicit route instructions will guide the rider along the spectacular designated routes.
Gathering at lunch will give us a chance to mingle with fellow riders, enjoy live music entertainment, and hear about the wonderful things being done for the children of Fragile Kids. Door prizes will be awarded and top fundraisers will be recognized.
Seldom will you have a chance to participate in a better organized event and ride some of the most spectacular roads in the area. Chances are many of them will be new and exciting places your motorcycle has never seen.
Each registered rider will receive an information packet with route directions. This will be a self-guided tour, but riders are encouraged to ride with a small group of other participants. This is not a timed event. The route may be completed on schedule without exceeding the posted speed limits.
