At the end of June, I posted some info on preparing my S.O.'s 2004 VFR with an auxiliary fuel tank.

Since then, she rode her bike from Vancouver to the south coast of Labrador. On the way home, she completed a Trans Canada Gold. The first woman to do so that I can see by looking at the IBA web site. And likely the only woman to complete both the TC Gold and the TC Quest (the quest was done on her Concours). The aux tank was a huge help.

Yes. Sherri Pelican is her name. First IBA ride was in 1999. A SS1000. Since then she's done a BB1500, a BBG1500, a TC Quest and most recently, this past week, a TC Gold.

Kudos to her! The TC Gold is one of the hardest IBA rides to do. Very cool to be the first to do something as well!

Wow, I can certainly appreciate that more than most after failing a 50CC on a VFR a month ago. Well Done!
