.... Anyone get a spin on that thing and care to give a ride report? Headscratch

You'd have to see if Matt would be willing to post one... He is the demo'er.

Anyone remember where this is?  Headscratch

Weeeee. It handles like a bike but it turns in quicker. I've never ridden a 2 wheel scooter so I don't know how it compares to that.

Not at all.  No flip-flops, and his glasses are not on his forehead.  Also, helmet is not strapped to the Left passenger grab rail.

I could see this being mistaken for a GL rider, protective baseball hat and all. Lol

Sunday evening I rode the 10 blocks to downtown Boscobel to listen to a band sans gear. But I waited for cover of darkness rather than risk commination.  Bigsmile

It's the D.O.T. approved baseball cap.  Thumbsup From the same makers of the D.O.T. do rag.

Actually I think I'm a squid because I was trying to drag my knee with jeans on.

Below are a few quick-pics requested from a few STN riders that I post.  These are the more unusual things that I ran across from my STN-R4 adventure.   And no, it isn’t a pic of Kevin “posing” after his visit with the Beaver Dam service dept to fix his GS.  Apparently,  he took it with no lube!   Wink Lol   But I digress…let’s get down to business.   Bigsmile

What the F*%$????  EEK! Ya, that’s a “poop car” alright.  Made 100% from cow manure.   Saw this as I was fill’n up with petro in Spring Green.   Man…did it stink.   Lol

http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a67/Zonnin/2007%20Boscobel%20STN%20R-4%20Rally/IMG_0003HoodPoopCar.jpg

Ahhhh yes, the proud owner.  Bigsmile

http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a67/Zonnin/2007%20Boscobel%20STN%20R-4%20Rally/IMG_0006ProudOwnerPoopCar.jpg

Yah, it sure brings about the gawkers -a double take… Wow

http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a67/Zonnin/2007%20Boscobel%20STN%20R-4%20Rally/IMG_0007GawkerPoopCar.jpg

Here I am getting ready to cross the Mississippi on the Cassville Ferry.   I saw several Amish horse & buggies that joined me.

http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a67/Zonnin/2007%20Boscobel%20STN%20R-4%20Rally/IMG_00183AmishBuggiesonRoad.jpg

…And here they come!  Clap

http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a67/Zonnin/2007%20Boscobel%20STN%20R-4%20Rally/IMG_0023LoadingAmishBuggies.jpg

This Amish young man was trying to calm the spirit in this restless horsie.   That horse was one eager-beaver when the gate was about to come down.   I stayed well in my corner the whole time making dam sure he didn’t knock me or my bike over.   Lol   Horsie was going sideways.   Lol   This Amish young man was also very intrigued & watched while I put my gear back on to exit the ferry.  I think he knew I was having a little more fun with “my iron horse“.   Bigsmile Thumbsup

http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a67/Zonnin/2007%20Boscobel%20STN%20R-4%20Rally/IMG_0019AmishWithHorse.jpg

A look on the inside of the buggy.   The buggy is of course DOT approved.   Bigsmile  Amish also don’t seem to mind using a few modern convinces such as an Igloo and plastic bags.   Look carefully inside.  Cool

http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a67/Zonnin/2007%20Boscobel%20STN%20R-4%20Rally/IMG_0021InsideAmishBuggy.jpg

Ahhh the poor ZX-14 feeling a little lonely in a sea of cruisers.  This was taken on top of the bluff in Balltown, Iowa after I crossed with the ferry.  The 14 sure loves C9-Y.  Inlove Lunch was “OK” at the only restaurant in Balltown.

http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a67/Zonnin/2007%20Boscobel%20STN%20R-4%20Rally/IMG_0042_ZX-14InSeaOfCrusiersBallto.jpg

One of the most standout things I ran across (sorry no pics) was a WILD WOLF! No
shit!  Saw the wolf as I was riding some very isolated backwoods roads.  I caught glimpse of him as I was descending into a deep ravine with heavy foliage near a stream.  I must have startled the timid wolf that appeared to be feeding.  He scuttled off like a demon when he saw me!  I smiled as he left.   Smile

The End.   Bigsmile

That overlook is between Genoa and Stoddard which is south of LaCrosse.

And 3 to 2 is about the best that BMW did, wasn't it? We had up to 4 Beemers at Breakfast in Viroqua but weren't there about a dozen Feejers? I recall about that many Sprint STs in Richland Center. What happened to all of them?

Hmmm, I'm not so sure I wanna let you try out the Burgman for comparison...

No wonder it needs tires at 2500 miles!
