Me too.  Tooled around in the Plains, but found the rain and dropping temps, so headed back to the roost.  Nice ride, though.   Smile

Heh -- had you been tooling around a little earlier, you would have passed me ('cept I was on my 18-lb bike again).

But I still wave at motorcycles....

I'm a Canon person. Once you spend enough money on a certain brand's lenses, it'd be a waste to switch brands. I've been eyeing up the latest Canon cameras that have 1080P recording capability...good looking stuff.

There is now a KLR650 in the garage.  You've been warned.

As far as I can tell, that tag has never been used (and I know we drove by that place a zillion times, but I don't think we ever stopped there).  I always wanted to do that, so I figured it'd be a good tag.  Lots of construction outbound on 50 near the Temple and in Middleburg.   Sad

Cool to see the nova tag is going on.
I had Ali many a time - but I thought she was lost?

The Tard was a fun tool for that game.

Hello all State, Federal employees and contractors,

I wanted to send you a heart felt message to enjoy your day off.

Please spend your time out riding or burning gas in some manner and post some pics.

Think of this day as a gift from us, the tax paying public, and have no fear that we hold a grudge as we sit stuck behind a desk working away while you enjoy the benefits of our productivity.

We know without your administrative redistribution skills helping us make the correct choices in life we would not be in the position we are in now.

Until Columbus day,
Your ever appreciative tax base.

Monday, September 3    Labor Day

jealousy is not a very Christian value, DNA.  Bigok

“Go to the ant, O sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise. Without having any chief, officer, or ruler, she prepares her bread in summer and gathers her food in harvest. How long will you lie there, O sluggard? When will you arise from your sleep? A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest, and poverty will come upon you like a robber, and want like an armed man.” (Proverbs 6:6-11).

HOV - enjoy your Presidents day, Memorial day, July 4th, and Labor day, but do not also forget, MLK day, Columbus day and Veterans day, the complete set of tax payer appreciation days in addition to Thanksgiving, New Years day and Christmas which we also take off and are allowed to celebrate (with Blackberry in hand).

Sigh, at least the traffic was negligible this AM.

Don't worry, be.......

[ Screw you.  I drove Dot to a fabric store while she was on a telcon.  After she selected the fabric for the bathroom curtains, I drove her home while she was on the next telcon. I can't get to any work material with the feds off and she can't get away from work even with the feds off.    Twofinger Twofinger  ]

D- Sounds like the perfect day to go for a ride!

Low traffic, no kid stuff to do, and unable to work.  What else do you need?
