Sorry -- haven't checked in on this thread in a few days. Was out riding much of the day Sunday, but on my lightweight bike. Did about 54 miles out through The Plains, Middleburg, and all through that area -- saw many motorcycles, but I would have recognized DrD's had I seen it.
Will be riding Skyline Drive next Sunday, but on my bicycle again....

This is what I mentioned over coffee: ** I just got off the phone with my BMW source and have the following to confirm regarding the 2012 S1000RR Factory Recall. 1. The recall is in regards to the connector rod bolts, which in simple terms are not up to specification for the S1000RR engine which can rev to 14,500 rpms. 2. 2012 bikes with Vin numbers ZL16475 and below are being recalled. 3. There are approximately 1,414 *USA* bikes that are part of this recall. 4. Bike ships past mid-April with Vin numbers above ZL16475 have been corrected and as such, are not part of this recall. ** Blue: Next time? |
