I don't have a GPS unit so I can't get us lost.

That line is signature material.  The meaning changes with ones interpretation of it. Smile

Banana Banana MISSION ACCOMPLISHED  Banana Banana

Just as well I was by myself; roads were mainly boring and my knees forced me to stop more often than some people prefer.

66 to 81 to New Market.

81 to 50 to home.
http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n302/peter_anon/IMG_0425.jpg
The pic is from the HD dealership just east of Winchester.  There was some sort of gathering there.  I had stopped for fluids and the pic.  As I prepared to leave, another group of bikers rode in.  A couple waved and a couple gave the stern face of disapproval while avoiding eye contact at all cost (almost to the detriment to the biker in front of them) .

I got my number!
http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n302/peter_anon/IMG_0426-1.jpg

What I want to know is, how do some of you ride for so darn long?  After three hours my butt and knees were talking to me regularly.  Standing up on the pegs helped, though only for another 10 to 15 minutes.  I must have a copper butt.

One observation:  Rt 50 was more fun to ride than I-66 or I-81.    So how can you cover long distances and have an interesting ride?

BTW, there is road construction on Snickersville where it joins with 50.  It might be hazardous heading south on Snickersville, lots of gravel and crap around.

Water on the bike.

Tunes.  I use a Sirius satelllite radio, and shift between music, talk, news, etc.

I have a tree in my front yard.  Dominion has since fixed the downed power lines.  A tree company should be coming to provide an estimate for removing it.

I can cut that up -- can't haul it out though.  Let me know if you'd like a visit.   Thumbsup

Thanks for the offer, but the tree company can cut it, lift the pieces with a crane and put them in their truck.

Yes, but then I don't get to use the Stihl. . ..   Wink

The hauling is the hard part, though it might be fun to see if that tree snaps back . . ..   Crazy

I had fun helping a neighbor while using a bow saw.    I know, I don't have an Ironbutt number, either.    Rolleyes
