When we got up yesterday morning, the forecasts looked good, so we decided that we'd better take the opportunity to ride - how many more nice weekends will we have?!?!

Calgary to Canmore via the #1A, to Radium Hot Springs via the #1 & #93 for a late lunch:- 295km.  Radium to Golden on #95 :- 105km of 120km/hr sweepers - very nice!  Golden to Revelstoke on the #1 again, some nice new pavement in some of the passing lanes, made for a very enjoyable 150km end to our day's riding.

Got up this morning and headed up to Mica Dam.  A 300 km detour that brought us right back to Revelstoke, but what a beautiful road.  Very little of it is terribly twisty, most of it is high speed sweepers that we enjoted immensely.  A 5 minute stop at the dam for a couple of pictures and the addition of heating elements for our hands.

Headed back to Canmore via the #1 with a stop in Golden for lunch.  The bridge East of Golden is finished, but that stretch of the #1 still really sucks with traffic!  There is a reason we usually add ~100 km by going through Radium Hot Springs instead.  A quick fuel stop in Canmore and we were home via the #1A about sunset.

A very good weekend with about 1,300km put on the bikes.
