Doug, what color blue is that?

Sorry I missed this question.  The truth is, I don't know.

Here's my newest Honda and it's all set up for touring this year!

I just picked up this '99 VFR800 a few weeks ago and it's already spent a week railing around the Deal's Gap area.

Thanks.  It has some painted-over rash on the lowers from a low-side by a previous owner.  I added a nice abrasion to it on the drive home yesterday, as one of the tie-down anchors came loose in the enclosed trailer; the bike tipped over and rubbed against my suitcase for several hours.  Color-Rite paint has been ordered, and I'll be touching-up the entire RH lower panel when it comes in.  I'm glad I bought used this time.  I don't think I could have handled that on a brand new cherry bike.

Thanks.  Yeah I was doing those polls to kill time during the Long Drought.  My purchase ended up being somewhat of an impulse decision....go figure.  But I like it so far.  Thumbsup

Before (May of last year):

Very dead 1991 VFR, 49000 miles, freshly picked up from my friend's place.  At the time it had:

* Progressive front springs
* Some sort of brake light flasher thingamajiggie (installed maybe a decade ago; don't know the brand)

Sorry about the crappy quality (it's off my phone); figured I'd put it here for completeness:

The VFR today.  I added:
* Corbin seat (ebay special!)
* Givi monorack (from TT) + E52 Maxia (Craig's List special)
* HyperPro 3D rear shock (built by EPM performance)
* Turn signal relocation modification
* Oxford Heaterz heated grips
* All-balls tapered steering stem bearings
* Misc scrapes, stickers, and dirt Lol

I been doing a little painting.  The VFR has some damage from a previous owner's lowside; nothing structural, but there are some small gouges in the lower part of the RH fairing.  I painted the lower part black and have been touching-up the red with a can of factory-matched Color Rite paint.  Apparently, the previous touch-up used crappy paint - it's curdling under the new primer and paint, forcing me to sand all the way through it before reapplying the new paint.  Problem is, I can't see where it is until I put the new paint on and it starts cracking as it dries.  Anywho, here's how it looks with the black part painted, but before I worked on touching-up the red (also posted in the "What did you do to your bike today?" thread):
