Damn you!
It's already bad enough that I have Manah Manah or Do re mi on replay in my head whenever I'm on on the bike.
Actually, they're always playing in my head.
Oh, and Woo Hoo by the 5.6.7.8's.
Haha! I get you back for getting Manah Manah stuck in MY head. BTW, Cake does a great version of Manah Manah on their newest album.

No need for the heated gear today--unbelievable! Think we will make it to Dec before it snows?

the temps were in the lower 50's but the wind made it feel like the 30's.

Here's the link for the outlet store, but Gerbing closed it till spring. That makes a whole lot of sense, coming into the season when we need the stuff.

Gerbing isn't closed, only the outlet. Why sell cheap stuff in the outlet during peak season? Shut it down and only push the outlet in the hot summer season when nobody wants your stuff. Supply and demand!!!

Was going to but with teh increased winds and the colder roads took the car and will stock up on groceries. Took the boy out for a couple of hours yesterday evening and he did ok. I don't like the wind pushing the bike sideways.

I didn't think it was too bad this morning but we're still getting the lake effect warmth here in the city.
My commute isn't long enough to get cold anyway.

34 deg and a wind chill of 27 and the wind blowing out of the west at 25 mph and gusting to 35 made for a fun ride in this morning.
still fun to see the reactions of the cagers when riding and hear all the people make comments at work.
if i get sick now it won't be to go riding today.

+1 on liking the reactions I get. Plus I love the way the V-Strom slices through the wind.
It will not be the cold that stops me, what really do not like is traffic after dark. All the head lights in my face make it harder to see.
I had to adjust me head lights last week, I was blinding everybody.
But we are having an incredible fall for riding.

+1 on the ridiculously long fall we're having. My brand new AST is helping to keep me on cagers' minds, and I still dont mind paying for parking here at school.... keep it shiny side up folks

Last Saturday when I headed far north it was much colder on the thermometer. But there was no wind and the fairing did its thing of providing a pocket of still air.
This morning it was damn cold. But I had to ride or Matt calls me a wuss.

The end of this week will mark 6 months of consecutive days of motorcycle commuting. I am proud of this streak. I've saved enough gas money to justify a track day in 2008. That's what I plan to tell my wife, anyway.

Really...
I seem to remember two tires and some new riding pants being purchased. I bet your gas savings are different after factoring that in.......
