Actually, I don't know why anyone wouldn't ride. Makes no sence to me at all. Headscratch

Because traffic sux. I can take the train and it takes 1.5 hr to get to/from work. If I ride it takes from 1.5 to 2.5 depending on traffic. Mostly I take the train.

I did ride Monday since there was a hot dog night way north. I was lucky and missed the rain.  Bigok

Tomorrow I'm heading for Missouri for the Falling Leaf rally. Bigsmile

There's some great roads down there.  Inlove

gorgeous view of the sun coming up over the big water this morning -- seems like most all the rain was moving to Michigan (sorry guys) --

also, boneheadedness IS a word, yes'm -- the measure is "did successful communication take place?" I think that we all knew what you meant, and through personal experience, as well

Only snow, ice and salt on the road stop me from riding.  Every day.

Where in MO are you heading?

Today I'm planning on going out to Sycamore to pick up a light bulb for some robot lights.  Gonna take the long way around (up to 20 and down Plank Rd.  Awesome!)

Yep, yesterday and today.  yesterday was better though; today was 8 miles of stop and go due to a bus breaking down in the middle of the freaking highway.  Just been adjusting gear each day- switched from mesh to full tex, then closed some vents, then added back the pocket mesh zip-offs, etc.  Gotta get that new heat-troller installed in place of the stupid hi-lo switch for the grips, though... and resurrect my heated seat project!!  Bigok

On the Christmas lights, I had found a somewhat interesting web page on doing a home string on DC... check it out here...http://michaelbluejay.com/electricity/dc-christmas-lights.html.  Another project to bring out of the closet... Bigsmile

Between Potosi and Eminence. Check out 19 south into Eminence.

If you think that 20 and Plank road are awesome, the roads in Missouri will Blow Your Mind!  Lol

I should start a thread. I think the folks in Missouri have been holding out on us. Mad2

Just kidding - they have been telling us that but the rest of us just aren't listening.

I rode on Thursday despite dire predictions of high winds and rain.  Wore the waterproof stuff and everything.

All day long, sunny.  I was starting to get annoyed.

All of a sudden, right at 5:10 PM, the skies darkened and then opened up.  Hurrah!  I didn't waterproof in vain!  I rode home in the squall, all happy... until I realized I hadn't brought anything to make my backpack waterproof.  Thankfully, the neoprene skin around my laptop kept it dry.
